Our Team

Who we are

  • We are your Fiddle and Clay team: John, Courtney, and Taylor! A collection of plant lovers proud to serve our plants AND the people who love them!

  • As a team we strive to create beautiful environments where plants serve the space and the people who occupy them. We believe plants are more valuable in a space than any “decoration”.

  • We believe it’s never too late to try something you love. Try plant parenthood. It’ll change your life!

Hello my name is John, and I am the co-owner of Fiddle and Clay. I have been taking care of plants for a long while now and I am so glad I get to bring my love for plants and plant care to more people. It’s been a dream to have a little plant shop inside of our coffeehouse and now that has become a reality! Check out all of our guides on how to be plant parents! We are working on a ton of videos and plant care content!

It is such a gift to care for and love these houseplants, and I have found an even greater joy supporting new plant parents find their groove in the plant world. It can be intimidating! That’s why I’m here to calm any worries you have, answer any questions, and support you 100%! And no, you won’t kill it. You’re going to be great! You can find me working the shop in Martin’s Coffee and Bakery or hosting a pop-up in your neighborhood! Don’t be stranger, let’s find the right plant baby for you!

Hey guy, I’m the Creative Director at Fiddle & Clay! Since I was a little girl helping my grandma care for her huge gardens, I have always loved having plants around. My job combines some of my favorite things: writing, creating content, and plants! My favorite plants are the Freddie Calathea and String of Pearls. My job is to be here for you guys and you feel prepared to bring home all the plant babies by providing you with quality content filled with all the information you need! I love talking about all things plants and plant care with you guys, so don’t be shy!
